Zeidelhof Reining Horses: High quality quarter horses

Zeidelhof Reining Horses breeds high quality Quarter Horses with great bloodlines. They got the perfect conditions to be raised happy and healthy on our beautiful facility in Lilienfeld, Austria.

Richard and Melanie Zehetbauer, who are the owners of 'Zeidelhof Reining Horses' bought a 115 hectares land in 2001, to start building their legacy in Lilienfeld, Austria. The outcome is a beautiful equestrian property with stunning mountain views and everything they could possibly need: 30 stalls, a big run-in stall, indoor arena, outdoor arena, round pen, horse walker and fenced paddocks for their beloved Quarter Horses.

Richard's and Melanie's 18-year-old daughter, Anna-Maria Zehetbauer starts and trains their self-bred and raised horses herself and shows them successfully in Reining-NonPro competitions all over Europe.

"I've been riding horses since I can remember. My first horse was Smart Starlight aka 'Burli', a Paint Horse gelding. He taught me patience and assertiveness, without him I wouldn't be where I am now. A few years later I started riding our Quarter Horse stallion Mr Gun Dee, we figured things out pretty good and took part in a lot of shows together. 

During having successful shows with 'Gunny' I also showed one of his first offsprings 'Big Leo Gun' in several big events all over Europe.Short time after I decided to start training our own bred and raised horses on our beautiful facility.

I was very excited such as anxious to start my first 2 year olds in January 2021. It turned out very well and I already claimed 3 futurity Champion-Titles in their 3-year-old year. December 2021 - NRHA Futurity in Oklahoma I had the pleasure to meet Brett Stone, from whom I gained a lot of experience and keep on learning more and more. I also have the great opportunity to work with Roleski Ranch's Head Trainer Lukasz Czechowicz since May 2023."
